Olivier Poirot was named CEO of Motel 6/Studio 6 and Accor North America. Poirot was previously the Accor North America chief financial officer. Georges Le Mener. Motel 6/Studio 6 chief operating command was named president and COO of Motel 6/Studio 6 with expanded duties including day-to-day marketing of the brand. Poirot joined Accor North America as senior vice president in charge of Finance for the ABL (Accor Business and Leisure) division in June 2001. Prior to that he was CFO of Accor UK Ltd in charge of Finance. IT. Procurement and Legal for Accor hotels in the UK and Ireland where he began his career with Accor in 1992. Poirot started his professional life by managing the consultancy tighten he created in France in 1990.
